I’ll start off by saying that District 3 is a great escape room in Regina that is worth the drive from the surrounding area (we drove in from Hamilton, Ontario!) David and the game other hosts are enthusiastic and passionate and are the icing on the cake of a great experience. Their location has a huge set of board games for purchase and virtual escape rooms for you to try.

I have to be careful to not give away any spoilers, but what I will say is, you’re in for a big surprise. What starts off as a quaint coffee shop experience will snowball into a decision that can change the world! And the decisions you make will affect the ending of this escape room. This is the first time where we have seen immersion into the storyline to the point where the game you play CHANGES based on your decisions! This is why we love David and his crew at District 3 – their approach to escape rooms is really next-level.

The puzzles are challenging but logical. There is a great mix of traditional and technical locks and puzzles. We had a hard time getting through it all with just two of us. Trust me – this room could easily handle 6 players or even 8 players. In fact, I would recommend at least 4 players if you’re hoping to finish in time!

This is a medium-hard room that is packed with value. I would absolutely do this room again. And I don’t mean I’d go back in time and do it again. I mean, I want to get together a group of friends and do it all over again and choose an alternate ending!

You will love this room that is light, cheerful, and dark and edgy.
