We really enjoy going to Lift Lock Escape. The owner is very friendly and proud of his work. It’s nice to visit locations where the owners still participate and have personal knowledge of the experience.

This room starts you off locked in separate cells and you must work together or you won’t get anywhere. Doing this room with two tweens was quite a challenge and frustrating at the start. However, as we got going this room had some of the most unique elements we’d encountered (at the time.)

The number of props and build needed to make a room look like a prison isn’t much, so, while the immersion is light, it’s enough. Still, some ambient audio would be easy to add and would take it to the next level.

We found that the puzzles weren’t too difficult and made sense with the theme of the room. We’d rate this room an easy-medium, once you figure out the first puzzle. This room will easily accommodate 6 or even 8 people, but 4 or 5 would be ideal.
