This location is just a commuter train ride away from Madrid and is definitely worth the visit. We did have to pay with cash when we were leaving but I’m not sure if that was a temporary issue or not. If you don’t have cash I recommend paying the full amount online.
Our host was delightful and was very engaged with us. She was in character for the intro, completion, and hints. The hint system is via speakers in the room and the combination of audio quality and the accent was a bit hard for us to understand at times. Note: nothing against our host who has done an incredible job learning English – it’s not easy. In the room together we had no problem with understanding but when combined with small speakers it’s harder to understand – even in English rooms in Canada.
The room build quality is excellent and well thought out. There is great ambient lighting and audio throughout. The props and decor were well made and are in good condition. All materials that matter are translated. There are some pieces that aren’t but because of how you use those elements, it doesn’t really matter.
We had a lot of fun in this room. It started off a medium-easy difficulty but towards the end got a little bit harder. The space is great for four people but is doable from 2 experts to six regular players. There’s a combination of keys, combinations, simple math, pattern recognition, and music.
I recommend checking their rooms out! I’m looking forward to a future visit where I can do their others.
