Welcome to Springfield, an average American city that has been pretty quiet and under the radar up until now. You arrive and notice that all of the residents have disappeared and the electrical appliances around town are going haywire. Can you find the source and prevent the meltdown in time?

We’ve been looking forward to returning to Hint Hunt ever since Zen Room made our list of the most immersive escape rooms in Ontario. This time we were able to meet with the owner who started Hint Hunt Mississauga when he was just 23 with the goal of stepping up Canada’s escape room game – and we think he’s done just that.

We love the idea of stepping into a cartoon world we grew up with. The hard thing about making a room like this is that a lot of your audience has spent hours looking at this set for decades (The Simpson’s is now on it’s 36th season!) We know the details of the rooms but, ya know, Hint Hunt did it! You feel like you’re in the set of your childhood show complete with bright colors and sharp edges. Granted, this room is REALLY new and there were a couple of things to finish on it, but we have a lot of confidence in the team here. You’re going to love even just stepping into the room.

The puzzles all make sense and fit with the theme. It is a non-linear experience so there will be moments where you need to look at what you have available and decide what to tackle next. In our opinion, you do receive some items earlier than you need them and we did feel like there was a big red herring which is tricky in a room with so much color. We did finish with more than 7 minutes to spare after using a couple of hints but having a group of 3 to 5 players will allow you to explore more of the room more quickly.

This room is a lot of fun and full of nostalgia. Go ahead and book it now!
