We’ve visited three Trapped locations now and this location really renewed our hope of finding a great experience at the chain. The staff were great, really friendly and helpful, and most importantly they were really interested in constructive feedback on improving the experience for others. We’re always happy to share and their enthusiasm for providing the best experience possible was clear.
This escape room is not like your typical escape room. While it does include traditional escape room elements, locks, and puzzles, it is what I’d call an escape themed experience. I relate it a lot to Never Show in Madrad – lots of mini games that work together to help you complete the challenge.
You find yourself in the office of an arcade and your first challenge is to get in. Once you do, you’ll be greeted by several different arcade-themed challenges that can be completed simultaneously. You’ll finally escape by returning to traditional puzzles.
The room is well made with lots of consideration to the lighting and audio. Adjacent noise is a challenge in their rooms and the experience would benefit from a richer introduction and wrap up – especially by an individual in-character.
This room is great for kids as a lot of the elements are playing and winning games.
The decor is fun an energetic (once you get into the arcade) and doable in a party of two but two adults and four kids could enjoy this room easily. 4 adults would probably be the upper limit for adults however or you’ll complete it too quickly and find that you didn’t get enough time in the room.
