Just a heads up that Mystery Mansion’s physical space may seem a little atypical when you arrive. There’s no central welcome desk as they’re making the most of their facility and we like that! The host was great at running the rooms and you could tell he really enjoyed himself as he ran experiences.

The Detectives Office is an interesting room with a fun little surprise at the end. It’s clear why you’re there and there’s a logical progression throughout. There was one issue with a piece of technology but generally, everything worked as expected. The decor is appropriate for the time period that the story is set in, but there is quite a bit of wear and tear on some of the items in the room.

The host was great once we were in the room, providing good hints. We did get a little stuck a couple of times. This room could hold 4 people comfortably. I imagine that 6 people would rip through this room pretty quickly. We managed to complete the room with around 4 minutes left with two of us. It’s a good medium difficulty room that will take an observative group.

In our opinion, this isn’t the best room at Mystery Mansion and we’d like to nudge you towards trying D’Vile’s Curio Shoppe at the same location.
