Why an Escape Room for Corporate Events? Escape rooms make for great team-building exercises. When my wife and I met in early 2020 we found a common hobby in escape rooms and that helped us with our communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. At the end of 2020 we got married and since then have completed over 100 rooms together with a 70% completion rate.
We’ve rated these locations based on a number of factors:
- The quality of rooms and their puzzles
- The number of rooms and variety to support larger groups
- The general facility and it’s ability to accommodate larger groups
- The staff and customer service at the location
Escape Manor – Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa
With multiple locations across Ontario, Escape Manor is an excellent venue for corporate events. Most of their venues are licensed for alcohol and also operate as a restaurant offering great food. Their typical hours of operations mean potential exclusive use during the day. They have a variety of escape rooms as well as activities like indoor Bocce Ball and axe throwing depending on the location. To top it off, their great staff and management team are some of the most enthusiastic in the industry.
Secret City, Casa Loma – Toronto
Not only is this a beautiful venue but it also features a place to eat, meeting rooms, plenty of parking, and lots of other amenities (though most are not associated directly with Secret City). I’m not sure I’ve ever done a room more suited for large groups than King of the Bootleggers which is why it had to added to our list of great corporate escape rooms in Toronto.
Trapped – Mississauga, Markham, Vaughan
Trapped features nice big foyers and private meetings rooms at most locations. They also offer a wide selection of escape rooms of different genres which helps ensure something for everyone. With locations scattered across the GTA and western Canada, convenient locations is also a factor.

KW Escape – Kitchener
KW Escapes is family-run and feels intimate despite its enormous size. Having opened just before the start of the 2020 pandemic, they are en route to being the largest escape room venue in Canada! Their staff is among the best and most enthusiastic. They have a wide variety of great rooms that each accommodate 6 to 8 players comfortably. Their meeting rooms and seating spaces are enough for any sized business.
Confundrum – Mississauga
Confundrum is one of the highest-rated rooms in Canada and has been for 5 years. Their years of experience in building rooms and hosting groups really show. Their foyer is filled with activities to help you pass the time while waiting for your room or waiting for other teams to finish. With a great variety to their rooms, there’s something for everyone.
Escape From the 6 – Mississauga
Escape From the 6 is located conveniently near the 407, 403, and Dundas in Mississauga? Oakville? It’s a bit of a mystery what’s going on over there. Their facility is big and open with a variety of activities to do while you wait. There is a wide variety of rooms including pairs of identical rooms if you want to have teams compete against each other. They have some of the most interesting and highly rated rooms in the area and is a great place to make memories together.

Ichabod’s – London
Ichabod’s is a great independent location in the heart of London. Their rooms are very well made with more unique puzzles – you won’t find a padlock and key in this place. Great care has gone into every element from the foyer to the victorious music that plays when you finish. They have a private meeting area with couches, a TV, and a large meeting table. Their rooms can accommodate up to 6 to 8 players at a time.
FantEscapes – Guelph
FantEscapes is a fun, uniquely designed space in the heart of Guelph. Their Magicarium room is particularly well made for larger groups. Two teams start on opposite sides and race against each other eventually crossing each others paths somewhere in the middle. The room has great replay value as you can play it in either direction. Their foyer has a lot of seating and a space for coats and storing your belongings. Magicarium can accommodate up to 8 players comfortably but don’t worry, there are other rooms as well that can be played at the same time.
