This is a classic (dare I say typical?) Western-themed escape room. This was actually the first escape room I ever completed so I can credit it with instilling a love for escape to this room and location. More than 100 rooms later, I was able to peak back into this room and see that it had been updated and adapted based on players’ experiences. It still had many of my favorite elements still here.
You enter the room blindfolded and quickly find yourself handcuffed to the bench you’re sat upon. The build is excellent. Though the lighting was great don’t recall there being much immersive audio when I was there and that’s always nice to have.
The room is well made with a variety of physical and mental puzzles. There are enough challenges and a variety of puzzles to keep a party of six people busy.
The staff is friendly though they are not involved in the room once you get going which I do like to see. A room like this would benefit from a hint system of someone on the other side of the wall talking to you like an already-escaped friend or another prisoner you can’t see.
Because of the variety of ways the puzzles are presented and the need to use a variety of problem-solving skills, I rated this as a medium difficulty.
This room can be completed as a head to head experience for corporate events or large groups.
It was a fun take on the classic western theme and worth checking out.
