I have to say that Adventure Rooms packs value into their rooms.  They’re very reasonably priced for the number of items in the room and the area you have to explore.  We’ve certainly received much less for more money in the past at other rooms.

This is one of the older rooms (compared to Moonshine) and there are certain key differences.  First, the storyline is very vague – you were “caught in his place.”  Potential spoiler: At the start of the room you’re handcuffed to the wall.  Why does the story start the way it does?  Did The Collector catch you in his place?  There are some gaps and so while the environment is amazing, there really is no intriguing storyline.  Secondly, details like the way pictures are screwed to the wall through the frame.  I understand that seeing this stops people from trying to pry pictures off the wall, but I think there are better ways to do this.  Finally, one of the puzzles near the end isn’t all that great.  You know which one we mean, Adventure Rooms!  There just isn’t as much care in it and the way the solution is presented just doesn’t fit with the environment.

Okay.  That’s it.  The room is really good.  There is LOTS to do and can handle a group of 6 to 8 just fine but is doable in a good duo. I’d rate this medium-hard just for the sheer amount of things to do.

They take important extra steps to make the immersion work.  Things like the ambient audio and lighting were considered and there are three or four unique things in this room that we hadn’t experienced yet and loved the creative uses of the large space.

The staff here are great.  They actually read our reviews ahead of time to see what we liked, and, even when we cried out for a hint they held back knowing we were close.  I love it!  We ended up leaving really satisfied and proud of ourselves.

Great job all around and definitely a must-visit and worth the drive to Niagara.
