Once again Escape Manor’s storytellers are some of the best around and they set the scene and establish the storyline before you enter the room. Inside this room, you’ll find an immersive, detailed and well-crafted room filled with ancient treasures. They’ve put a lot of thought into crafting this room and equipping it with good quality props.
The staff tips via walkie-talkie are fitting for the room and helps to keep an immersive experience which we like. We really liked the giant sand hourglass is a timer for the room however, it wasn’t working properly when we visited. There were some other signs of wear in this older room but it doesn’t harm the experience too badly (it is due for a touch-up!)
Your purpose for being there is easy to understand and there’s a logical progression throughout the room. The puzzles are fairly clear and well thought out though I think some of them also suffer from age having been created in the days over overthinking puzzles.
Overall, a good medium room that would benefit from having four to six players present.
