We’re big fans of Escape Manor in general. Their staff are always enthusiastic and they seem to genuinely have fun when building and running rooms.

The Darkness is a great take on the secret society theme. There is a great combination of puzzle types, locks, decoding, and physical puzzles. The puzzles fit well with the theme and make sense in the different areas you’ll explore.

Some of the decor in the room was a little beat up and needs an update but the general build quality of this room (and all of Escape Manor’s rooms) is very good.

The atmosphere is great but could use some ambient audio to take it up a notch, add to the tense feeling of the room, and help cover up noise from other rooms.

This room was easily accomplished by two experienced escape roomers but would easily handle four or five individuals walking around the room. It is an easy-medium difficulty.

Give it a try and let us know what you think!
